chapter 3

Kayla rode all day long and finally found an inn. She  stepped inside and saw a wonderful sight, besides all the drunken people there was a band singing and dancing, they were elves! Kayla looked at her list and saw one elf shoe so she decided to wait till they were done they’re songs before she took one of they’re shoes. So once the elves were done Kayla went up to one and said “excuses me but may I have your shoe?” “why would you want my shoe?” laughed the elf. Kayla burst into tears “my husband is going to die soon and I need a elf shoe for a potion and I don’t know where any of the places are where I can get the other ingredients for the potion and-and.” Kayla cried even harder. The elf took pity on her and said “how about you come to my house and I’ll give you an extra pair?” Kayla dried her eyes and said “that would be very nice, thank you.” So Kayla and the elf started to walk to the elf house. “so what do you need for this potion?” asked the elf  “well” Kayla took out the piece of paper ”I need two ogre teeth, five dragon scales,  one wizard wand, one elf shoe, a piece of a giants pumpkin and seven ever lasting leaves.” “wow” “I hope you can find them all” said the elf tears filled Kayla’s eyes “I don’t think I will” said Kayla in a shaky voice. “please don’t cry… um what’s your name??” “Kayla.” “What’s yours” “mine is Zipta my mother wanted me to be entertaining so she gave me a funny name.” “ I think it’s a nice name zipta” smiled Kayla “well we’re here, this is my home” said Zipta proudly it was a cute little house carved into a mountain. It had a chimney and a garden full of  flowers near the house. “its vey nice zipta.” Said Kayla “yes it is, would you like to come inside?”  “of Corse” smiled Kayla tear stained. they went inside and what a sight! The walls had shelves with rewards of dancing and singing there was four rooms. a bathroom a kitchen a bed room and a guest room “you are more then welcome to stay for the night if you like Kayla, I have a guests room.” “thank you zipta I would like that” said Kayla with a warm smile. “ well if you don’t mind I would like to go to sleep I’ve got a long journey ahead of me” said Kayla “please, go a head” smiled zipta Kayla got dressed for bed and crawled in.
