Remorse. It was the perfect word for what I was feeling. My eyes were blod-shot, and my face tear-stained, but there was nothing I could do but watch my life crumble before me. He was my life. I hadn't stopped thinking about him since the moment we met. And now he was gone. Forever. He was never coming back. How could he have done this to me? I needed him. I couldn't do this alone. We had no where to go. I could feel the tears coming at this point, and haistily blinked them away, taking a deep breath. As I rose from my place on the ground I began to think. Not about where I had been, but where we was going. We couldn't stay here. It wasn't safe. Or, it wouldn't be for long. Now that they knew where it was, this little cave by the sea would no longer work. I gathered everthing of mine and wrapped it in an old, ragged, blanket. There wasn't much. Only the necesities. A small pot, some matches, a canteen, a bow and some arrows for hunting, and some small morsles of food that I had saved. That was all I had. All a needed. All I would have for a very long time. My name is Lydia I am fifteen years old and I am an outcast. There are roughly one hundred of us, and William was our leader. He was killed b the emperor less than an hour ago. He was my husband. The love of my life. He is gone, and that leaves me with the duty of leading them. All of the inocent soles outside this cave. How will I do it? I have no idea, but what choice do I have? I composed myself, throwing my supplies over my shoulder. I walked out onto the ledge. All activity halted and everyone watched me, waiting for my desicion. I could see the questions in their eyes that they didn't dare ask. "How can she lead us?" , they wondered. "She is but fifteen!" I dismised those thoughts from my mind as I began to speak. "As you all know, William was our leader. Because he had been killed, I shall take his place. We will head north. That was Willams plan. After that I do not know what will happen, but we must keep moving. Everyone pack your things. We leave at dawn."
--To be continued. I will write more, but I would like to get your opinion on this first.--

Well...
You must understand, this isn't set in the 21st century. As a mater of fact, I haven't even decided if it's set in this universe. So...Yeah.
