Well, today I had my voice recital. I sang two songs. "Grown Up Christmas List" and "Someone Like You" by Adele. And Oh! Were my knees shaking...but I managed. :D And I was pretty happy with what I did today. But the best thing was hearing that someone was crying when I sang "Grown Up Christmas List." Google the lyrics--they're great! Hopefully they weren't crying because my singing voice ruptured their eardrums, but if they weren't, then I'm glad I managed to make someone happy today. I couldn't have asked for more.

So I'm going to sit back, realx, and enjoy this gorgeous Holiday season. I feel blessed. I feel loved. I feel hopeful.

I feel this quiet accomplishment creeping up on me, overshadowing everything else, and making me feel like singing. And dancing. And smiling.

All at once. Though I'd probably trip over my feet and go sprawling if I did. Probably.
