*Just wrote this for fun. Feel free to share ideas, suggestions, anything! I might write the first chapter! (sorry for any spelling mistakes!)

Well, here I was again. Stuck in a situation entirely caused by me. This made me laugh with dry humor, causing my sister to give me a sideways glance, raising her light eyebrows as if to say, "Well, now what?" I clamped my mouth shut and stepped back, escaping her firm grip on my shoulder. 

"Mom won't be happy!" She sighed. "Especially now!" 

I rolled my eyes visibly. "I didn't do much wrong." 

"Except for completely destroying her antique chair!" 

I rubbed my forehead. "Hmmm, well, I've done worse." 

Claire seemed exasperated at this. "Yes, you have! Which makes me think that what mom and dad said is going to happen." 

"What did they say?" 

"You get into way too much trouble, Alexis." 

"Like?" I asked. But I knew she would have a long list of things to say. So I held my hand up to silence her. 

"What?" She asked, staring at my palm. 

"Don't even begin naming them!" 

"I wasn't," she teased. "It would take the rest of the day to name all of the trouble you've caused." 

We finally made it to my room, where I shut the door firmly behind me. Like I said, I didn't do much wrong. Just little accidents. Like that time I left the water running with the drainplug in the sink and flooded the kitchen. Or the time that I completely forgot about the cake in the oven and it almost caught the stove on fire. But the worst had to be when I managed to get stuck in the darkest, dankest, and dampest room in the basement for three days and mom and dad couldn't find me. I can explain that one later. But you get it. I'm hazardous. 

But that wasn't an excuse for what they were going to do! Tears gathered in the corners of my eyes as I thought of my possible punishment. No way, I would never do it! But even as I promised myself such, I couldn't help but feel uneasy. 

I didn't want to go to boarding school!
