**The idea for this came to me a few days ago, so I sat down and wrote it! Hope you enjoy!
Kneeling down beside her bed
She bends her head in prayer
Black hair straight as silk
Quivers from His stare
"Father, please lead me,
In the coming months.
This place is new and foriegn.
But in you my heart trusts."
Skin as dark as night
Hands pressed firm together
She shines her face heavenbound
And makes a wish forever
"God, please understand.
I really need your guidance.
You know what is best for me.
Help me not to fight it."
Another girl across the sea
Her blonde hair bright and fine
She crawls under the covers
Wanting just to hide
"Jesus if you please,
Pass this along to my dear.
I miss her playful bark.
Help me to not tear."
She needs His help as equally
As all the other girls
So she closes her eyes and prays
Along with all the world
"Man up in the sky,
You must need our love to.
Give us your hope daily.
Show us what to do."
Then the four voices continue
With messages to send
They open their eyes hopefully
"We love you, God. Amen."

**Smiling**
Aw, thank you SO much! I smiled hugely when I read your comment. Those type of things just make my day! I thought of it at the grocery store and it hit me all of a sudden. Everyone's prayers are different, and I am hopeful I was able to interperet this in the correct way. Once again, thank you so much! I can express how happy such comments make me! :))~

I LOVE this!
This is just SO beautiful! I absolutely love it! The imagery is great, the emotions are wonderful, you can really feel every word! I loved the lines "Black hair straight as silk Quivers from His stare". That conveys so many emotions all at once! The other whole stanza I loved was the one about guidance and asking God to help you not to fight it! Those words are so true and most people way older don't even pray like that! Take a bow girl, cause this shows both great maturity, innocence, emotion, and imagery in ways that I don't see all of the time with poetry. A truly delightful combination that I will definitely be re-reading a lot! Love, love love!
