These creatures are muddy

And yucky and rude 

Their hair is unbrushed 

Their faces are crude 

 

They dash all around 

Trying to annoying you 

They are hearing imapaired 

And impulsive too 

 

"Play this and play that" 

They scream from their lungs 

They bounce and they tumble 

They yell and they lunge 

 

They love causing trouble 

They love causing wear 

They love pleading innocence 

And they love being unfair 

 

They try to avoid books

Whenever they can 

They love pulling pranks 

After they make a plan

 

They sneak and they slither 

They cry and they whine 

They pretend that you're guilty 

Whenever you're kind

Please keep these monsters away 

They're rude and they're mean 

They're annoying and pesky 

So please, keep them unseen 

 

But sometimes, oh brother 

They can be quite nice 

Those moments, oh brother 

When they're without fight 

 

So volunerable, so helpless 

They need me, can't you see 

They need me to take care 

They need their "sissy" 

 

Don't send them to their rooms 

Don't ground them at all 

I hate to see their tears 

So I'm there when they call 

 

So little, so tiny 

Nomatter how big 

So sweet and so needy 

Is that little pig 

 

You smile and hug them 

When things don't go right 

Then think, "Am I sane?" 

Or tired of this fight
