Hello!
I've been pretty absent from AP for awhile, besides the occasional drop-in and comment. Kassady created another great site that I have been pretty busy with! BUT, alas! I'll be back on more often now, and make faces at the computer when I run out of posts, and wait longingly for the next chapters of all the wonderful stories I read...and cheer when users announce new books or sequels or anything even a bit exciting. ;)
So...not much has happened with MY writing. I had a serious case of writer's block (it was horrible) but luckily the juices are flowing again! I've been working on an 80-some page story, and I must say I'm pretty proud of myself! It's the longest story so far I have written. And with Kassady's encouragement, I've managed to keep it steadily going! I might just post it on here. It's titled "The Three" and a drama/romance! Pretty common, I think. But, if I post it, hopefully you'll catch the interesting twist on all of it! :)
Other that that, I have completed a pretty big mess of a book (and don't we all?) that needs a serious editing job. It's pretty silly, dramatic. Titled, "Reaching Rachel" I have posted the first chapter on AP. It got interesting feedback! Ha!
Sophie (I've posted that as well) is on old on account of "The Three." It came to a standstill, and I need to re-write several parts. But, once I do that, whether in a few years or a few months, I'll be sure to post.
Poetry has been as important as ever to me! I've found a serious way to express myself through it. I was on a poetry-writing spree just a few weeks ago. I must have written six or seven in a row, in two or three days! And the poems on AP are always so wonderful.
And, once again, a hearty thank-you to James and his continuation of AP! I'm so glad to be able to type the name and hit enter, then see the familiar blue background pop up with new entries from the monthlies. I'm so glad to be able to read until my eyes are drooping, to comment and see it pop up to (hopefully) bring a smile to the writer's face. I'm so glad to be on Apricot Tarts and to still have it!
Check out Kassady's page...Pristine's...and Lego Boy's!
Happy Writing, (and some to come!)
