Just Forget to Breath

Time, time, time
Takes breath, breath, breath
Filling your days
You just forget to breath

The stress comes out in giggles
Making your friends think you’re insane
And you long to scream, shout out
It’s not all real, you say

Hormones creep up on you,
Driving you nuts
In circles and circles
You get so dizzy
You Just Forget to
Breath.

Vegies or sugar doesn’t make it any better,
Nor the many hours of required brainpower,
Heaping to the pile of stress, worry, nervousness.

But time, time, time
It’s getting on
There’s so many things to do, many things to worry about
That sometimes,
I just forget

To Breath.

This was something I wrote ages ago when life was REALLY hectic. It still is. The poem is a little scrappy, and it is partly a song, but I thought I better post something. Enjoy!

I really related to this. I often find myself forgetting to breathe, too.

Thanks for commenting!! I posted whole lot of poems too, if you're interested.
