Hi guys! I really felt that this story hasn't been going anywhere... and after you read this you'll probably understand. I could make myself write the rest, but I don't think it'd be fun. Enjoy your last (probably) chapter.

‘One order for a salad hamburger!’
‘Two cappuccinos coming up!’
Sam adjusted her coloured headband.
‘And one fruity-tootie smoothie!’
A smiling lady with overly-frizzy orange hair came and took the tray with the salad hamburger, cappuccinos and the smoothie of to a table in the back corner of the café.
It was so nice to make people smile, Sam thought. She took the smoothie shaker and filled it up with ice. Sky added icecream, sugar, and fruit, then flicked on the switch.
‘Looks like you girls are getting the hang of it, huh?’ Dylan leaned over their shoulders.
‘Yeah, thanks to everyone.’ Sky batted her mascara-laden lashes.
Dylan flushed a pretty pink right up to his curly blonde locks.
‘U-u-hh, yes, well, I’d better be getting on with the dishes.’ And he walked away hurriedly.
Sam elbowed Sky in the ribs. ‘How can you flirt with him like that?’
Sky stuck up her nose. ‘That’s none of your business. And anyway, I think he’s cute.’
‘Whatever.’

Sam grabbed her lunch box and was on her way to the staff room when Joshua stopped her.
‘Oh, hey! I was just wondering if you’d want to stop by the coffee shop with me during our break.’
Sam’s heart thumped as she tried to make her voice sound normal. ‘Sure; that’d be great. Just wait for me outside while I get my jumper.’
She rushed back inside the café back to where she’d left her bag.
‘And so where do you think you’re going?’
Sky stood across from her with her arms folded.
‘U-uh, the coffee shop across the road?’ Sam offered her a fake smile.
Sky smirked. ‘Oh yeah, with who?’
‘Huh, that none of your business!’
‘Then I guess I’ll just have to come with you!’
Sam paused. ‘Okay, okay, sorry for going of on you about Dylan.’ She sighed. ‘I’m just going to the coffee stop with Joshua. FOR A FRIENDLY CHAT.’
Sky snorted. ‘Yeah right.’
‘Well anyway, he’s waiting outside for me, so if you’ll excuse me,’ she shot Sky a look saying: Don’t you DARE follow me. And luckily, she didn’t.

‘It’s really nice of you to buy me a coffee like this.’
Sam settled herself comfortably on the cushioned bench.
‘My pleasure. So, how are you going with the new job and all?’ Joshua stirred his coffee until it was all frothed up.
‘Um, yeah, well…I really like serving the customers and stuff. And our staffs are pretty nice.’ She blushed at this last comment.
Joshua didn’t notice. ‘Yeah, my favourite bit is the cooking and serving people. So, tell me about your family.’
Sam leaned on the table with her elbows. ‘I have 3 brothers and 2 sisters—’
She grinned at Joshua’s amazed face.
‘SIX kids?!’ he stated. ‘Wow! What are their ages?’
‘Okay. Let’s see… Liam’s the oldest; he’s nineteen. You two would probably really hit it off. Um, then there’s Ben. He’s the real pest.’ She scrunched her nose. ‘But I have to forgive him. He’s only ten.’
Joshua laughed. ‘Who’s next?’
‘The twins; Cooper and Ainsley. They kind of keep to themselves. I guess that’s what twins are like. They always look out for one another. If one’s in trouble, the other one will always go with the punishment as well.’
She shrugged her shoulders. ‘And then mum had a little baby girl; Tina. We all adore her,’ she shook her head; ‘and we all spoil her rotten.’
‘I wouldn’t mind being in her shoes.’
‘Huh, same.’
‘I reckon we should introduce our mums together.’ He slurped at the last bit of cream.
‘Sounds good to me.’ She looked at the fancy watch Mrs Miller had given her for her last birthday.
‘I reckon we should get going; it ten to,’ she remarked getting up from the bench.
‘Thanks for the coffee.’
Joshua nodded. ‘As I said, the pleasure’s all mine,’ he said with a smile.
Sam reflected that it was a very handsome smile. She told herself not to think about. She shook her head as if to clear the thought.

And that’s as far as I got. I decided that this story didn't really have a plot, and I don’t think I could just make this fantastic plot up, while I've already written some of the story. If that makes any sense. :)
I like it. Brilliant.
