I wrote this almost two years ago.

Jesus, light my life,
And take away my strife
That as I forgive my brother
We can forgive one another
But Jesus there is another person in my life
Who is still living in strife
And I ask you today
To go and light her way
I’ve tried to tell her about you
But instead she just pushed through
I think she has something on her heart that she’s tried to push away
But I want to let her know it doesn’t have to stay
She doesn’t listen, she just moves on
I can tell she’s in a bond
But when I came home, after to you I was listening
I could feel something was missing
Then it came to my head, and it will always be there
For that missing part was PRAYER
I pray for her today
In my own quiet way
I ask not only to light her life
But let her accept JESUS CHRIST
And as I ask for forgiveness of strife
Jesus, Jesus
Light my life
