Why?

Why?

This is such a common question in our everday topsy world!

Why is the sun bright?

Why is the grass green?

Why is the sky blue?

Why do we have dreams?

Why do we have hair?

Why do we have toes?

Why are there trees?

Why are there flowers?

Why are there animals?

Why will we die?

Why will we live?

Why will we love?

WHY!!!

Do you have answer's? Do you have exact fact? Do you know?

Not many people do! Not many people know! Not many people know why!

WHY?!

Like, it's totally, like, because. Like, yeah...*trails off into silence*

Honestly, I have NO idea why. And I think that's what makes life that much more interesting. We're always searching for the answers, and yet we don't find them always. So eventually we settle for our own answers. That's what defines a person. What their "why" means to them.

You take one person:

"We love, because it makes us happy."

Another:

"We love because we have to in order to survive."

Another:

"The grass is green because God made it so."

Another:

"The grass is green because the world make it that way."

SO that is an example. Two completely different personalities, defined by one question.

Good essay, although, I must ask, "Why (hehe) did you write it?"

To get people thinking?

To get people wondering?

To get people discussing?

;) See ya soul sista sitter!

This is great poem to get you to think! I am a curious person by nature and I have always asked "Why" questions. I try hard to always get answers to my questions. However, I learned that we can't always answer the "Why" questions. That is what makes it so beautiful and gives us an appreciation for things when we can't always explain "why". If we did, life would be boring and there would be no mysteries or adventures. I like this poem's combination of humor and seriousness as well as its ability to engage the reader and get them thinking. It is never bad to wonder "why"! Great job! Keep writing and God Bless!
