During this season
We have the power
To bring hope to some
To the hurting and lost

We have a solution,
A way to help others,
And every hurting one,
By praying for them.

There’s death and despair,
Destruction and pain.
Hopelessness fills the air
When the fires blaze

There’s so many hurting,
Among those whose homes
And all of their things
Have burned to the ground.

Then there are those
Who need hope and love;
Those way ‘cross the globe,
Who need our great LORD.

We can show them love!
We can give them hope
And Light from above:
In the Holy Son of God.

Here is our great joy:
For our Savior Jesus
Came as a baby boy
And gave us new life!

We can give this to them
Through two different ways,
I implore you use one
If not two you can use:

We can give to them gifts,
Resources with hope too!
Or to heaven we can lift
Our hands up and pray.

To help people, it’s our duty
To pray for them, it’s our call;
To ask God who know and sees
To hear the pleads of all.

I’m not asking for money,
Or dollars for charities,
I’m simply asking:
What can you do to help?

Through our simple requests
God works out wonders!
He can use them to bless,
To encourage and help others.

Even if toys or things
We simply can’t give,
There’s one simple thing
That we all can do:

For the least of these
Ask God to give them
Much joy and much peace,
And in Him new life!

We can pray for the suffering
We can make a difference
Let’s pray to the King
Will you join me?
