The counter attack

While the Tonanarians were busy fighting the Lokians the Quantorians used the time to build up their forces. On Tonanarians I heard that the Quantorians actually sent the Lokians to attack us so they could gain an upper hand. This made me furious I thought my enemy had some sense of honor and dignity but sending Lokians to attack any one is lower than low. So I ordered a large-scale attack on Quantorians bases along the front line. This caused them to lose many front line shipyards and mining facilities. They returned the favor by attacking my starbases several were destroyed on both sides this went on for months. I attempted to make peace but the Quantorians would not have it. They wanted us destroyed completely and utterly. We had no choice but to fight. The war was now taking its toll. I had to order an attack on the world of Arosa a key agricultural world where they were also developing weapons that could destroy planets.

I didn’t want to but if they developed the weapon we would lose planets. So I personally led the attack. This was a deferent kind of battle we had to hit the weapons facility without harming the farms because to be the good guy I had to bring no harm to civilians. The first part of the plan called for heavy cruisers to distract the planetary defense force whale blockade-runners broke through and dropt troops on the ground. Phase 2 called for us to find the weapons facility and fight though the guarding forces. Finally phase 3 called for destruction of the base with high yield low range explosives. Followed by an evacuation followed by a warp-jump to the nearest friendly world and treat any injuries as well as get our next assignment. That was the plan but as everyone knows in war nothing ever goes according to plan. We arrived at Arosa but we didn’t know they had dragon class ships witch were more advanced than the ones we brought our runners didn’t even make it through good thing for me I was going on the last runner wave witch did not launch due to heavy losses our ships were heavily damaged so I ordered a retreat. On the way out I fired my only antimatter warhead witch destroyed the plant unfortunately it also took out several farms. On the way back my heart was heavy with sorrow. For I was morally troubled was my decision the best one should I have left and tried again so I wouldn’t kill civilians. These questions haunted me for a while. But I had to put my feelings aside. I had a war to win. I went to seek council from the Almighty about what I should do. These were his words to me, “Tony I am the one who made the heavens though I hate war I see its necessity to bring down evil, though do not lose faith for I have a plan and good shall prevail”. These words put me at ease so I left in the knowledge that the almighty had a plan for us to win. And as I had these words spread my men gained hope and from that hope came strength. Witch intern made us strong with our faith and determination we fought on. Across galaxies and planets it was as if we all were fresh cadets in terms of energy again. And in our territory a golden age began. Meanwhile in the Quantorian Empire there was disease but instead of having us help them they attacked more it is days like this I wish for peace.
