The following is a true story. I am writing this mere minutes after it happened. I am a musician. I do most, if not all of my work on a computer. I keep a lot of information and samples and other important things on a thumb drive. The thumb drive is an HP, model FD USB drive. I've customized it by gluing a broken Shift key to the front. Yesterday I went to the visitation for my great-grandmother's funeral. I had the thumb drive in my pocket then.

He clearly enjoyed the look on the two separatists faces. The quiet roar of the Cle-Elum River and the trilling of birds welcomes me every summer when we return to my grandparents’ mountain cabin in Salmon-la-Sac, Washington. A mixed feeling of excitement and amazement fills me with delight as I inhale deeply, reveling in the mingled scent of dust and wood, warmed by the sun. “I’m really here again!” I whisper to myself, as I wander up the trail to the cabin. Even though my family and I often go to Salmon-la-Sac a few times every year, each visit still excites me. There, we can relax, explore, build, laugh, and create cherished memories.

Pete was an inventor.
He could fix any appliance or machine that you could possibly imagine.
But he was bored.
The age of inventions seemed to have ended when Pete's father died.
The one thing Pete wanted to do was have some sort of adventure, which led to his doing lots of extreme sports.
Like sailboarding.
It was a highly blustrous day which is perfect for urban sailboarding.
Pete and J-Boy were at the local college campus doing just that.
Pete invented the sport. The sailboard is a board similar to a skateboard with a mast in the center.
The mast holds the sail used for steering. A second sail, similar to a parachute, is attached at several points on the board.
