Danilos strutted into the Council room and carefully looked around the room, making eye contact with each counselor, before throwing a rolled parchment on the table.
"What is this?" someone asked.
"Open it," Danilos growled.
A counselor gingerly reached for the parchment and unrolled it enough to see the scrawl and the blob of sealing wax at the bottom of the page. "This is it, then? Signed and sealed by the king?"
"Counselors." Danilos leaned both palms on the table. "We are going to war."

The clouds drifted over the rolling hills, providing first a patch of dark shadow, then a patch of intensely bright sunshine. Varian struggled to rein in his attention, but his eyes always returned to scanning the hills, or to the great spire that was Mount Arborn.
Two days had passed since Archflame had told him the story of the Crown of Ages. Two days of intense training had followed, which Jokk ran his pupil through the toughest war-training he'd been in yet. Varian could feel his sore muscles complaining that he'd been still too long.

Normal 0  These are names from a book I’m writing, but I need help with the name!!! It’s about a dragon named Sly who (despite his utter insanity) is the only dragon who can help a clan of dragons called, Barlin, defeat Gaylord Balthazar from taking over the third largest kingdom in the known world, Zarrattay. Also, along the way, they discover a deeper evil, heartless, a dragon with a dark plan to ruthlessly destroy all the humans in the world, but, in order to do this he needs something, but what?

Shadows, Shadows

Shadows, shadows, all around,

In the sky and on the ground.

Light has fled on this dark day;

Evil's minions come to play!

Darkness, darkness, in the air;

Stars are hiding, who knows where?

Sun has gone and run away

And we're left with night today!

Weapon, weapon, in my hand,

Let us fight to free this land.

Cleanse the shadows with the light;

Bring back all that's good and right:

Warrior, warrior, come with me,

Let us make this great land free.

 The Crown of Ages was created long ago, when the Highlands and Lowlands were still one, by a master smith named Terbus. He had been commissioned by the wisest king of all, Malchus. King Malchus had Orkanilia's guiding hand on him and from a young age had been filled with great wisdom. King Malchus had striven for and asked for this wisdom from Orkanilia.
