Okay, so I've decided to start a book, but it's going to come in bits over longer stretches and probably will be re-posted when edited. I am working on outlining -- NO, I'm practically FORCING myself to outline, otherwise it might not turn out well ;) Bear with me through the introductions, because I am trying to make them as interesting as possible, but they are mainly so you can know about the ways of the different lands, as they are vital to the book :)

Introduction, pt. 1 - The Land of Fenburon

The land was Fenburon, it was a beautiful land, filled with fruit trees of many different kinds. It was known as the Land of Fruits. War was not uncommon in this place. At the seemingly young age of fourteen, boys were considered adults, for girls it was fifteen. It was divided into four sections, which was so because of four rivers which divided the lands. The four sections were named, Wenton, Linsontina, Scathnaid and Pavidia. Pavidia was the biggest section of the land, which the Palace was settled in. Pavidia housed the many Nobles and Royalties of Fenburon, while Wenton was best for farming, so it housed farmers. Linsontina was where most of the fruit of Fenburon was grown, while Scathnaid was where many of the lands Markets abode. In the army, boys can join at fourteen, and sometimes it is absolutely commanded by the king that they join. Fenburon’s men hardly are ever seen during a war, and sometimes never seen again. When the king of the land dies, his eldest son is to become heir of the throne, and if he is younger than fourteen, he is to be instructed by the Elders of the land until he is an adult. The elders of the land are aged sixty and up, any younger will not be considered an advising elder.

I like this idea for the kingdom and I want to find out more. What predicament will befall the kingdom and who, (a great hero, or lowly stable boy/girl?) will ever be able to save it?

Me and my dramatic voice :P Keep up the work!
P.S. I don't like outlining either XP

Haha, I haven't worked on it lately, been so busy ... :P Anyways, not gonna tell, you gotta find out -- already have it worked out partly :)
Thanks, too :)

I always have trouble with world-building, so this was interesting to me. Just be careful with your verb tenses.

Haha, thank you! Thanks, I'll keep that in mind! :D

So are there lots of rebelions or does Fenburon frequently go to war with other countries around it? I am guessing the latter. And do the people of the four different lands inside of Fenburon consider themselves somewhat different than other people from a different section of Fenburon? Sort of like the English, Scottish, Welsh, and Northern Irish, are all part of the UK (which should really be called Great Britan [Yes, even if the Scottish are the best{Oh! I didn't say that}]) but are all different people groups.

Hopefully you can make sense out of all that mess above.

This is Arthur; I got on to James' laptop and didn't want to sign out, that's all.

Arthur,
It is mostly with all the Countries around it :)
And, no, they are all the "same" if you know what I mean :) Their Land is just divided :)

Alright, got it. No more questions now. It's not that your writing was vague, it's just that I start thinking about other possibilities and and then wonder if that was the original intent.

Haha, okay :)
