Photograph Memories

**This was originally a song, but then the people that were reading it said it was too much like poetry, and now I'm not sure if it's enough like poetry to be a poem. So I'm not sure what it is. Hopefully something somewhat amusing. :P**

Somewhere stuffed up our sleeve We all have this photograph book Filled with photograph memories Somewhere in our busy lives We all take the time to look at them And we wish we could go back And we wonder why life had to Ever get so hard   I want to fly But my feet are glued to the ground I want to grow up and be strong But I still ride trikes and play with balls I want to go back sometimes To the days when life was easy I know we’re going faster, but  I wish we could Pull over to the shoulder And sit and dream I wish I could relive My photograph memories   There’s some nights when We take a blanket, take a dream And go and wish on stars unseen We like to watch the skies of other people’s lives But when we have to look at ours We see how fast it’s changing and We wish we could go back And then sigh and ask ourselves why?   It’s time to go forward in faith I’m hanging onto a wing and a prayer And a little bit of hope that Things are not always as they seem

I like it very much. It's slightly sad and reflective, but ends on a sweet and hopeful note. Very nice.

I love this Sarah!!!  Exactly how I feel sometimes.  You captured a Peter Pan sort of attitude towards growing up wonderfully.  Beautiful job, my dear. :) <3
