His nose was almost on the ground,
The one I’d saved at the pound.
Friends we’d been forever,
Enemies we were never.
Myself and the Red Dog
This morning we’d set out in the fog,
Going on in a steady jog.
Myself and the Red Dog.
He was red all over,
And I had named him Rover.
His ears were big and daggy,
And His coat a little shaggy.
He was my big Red Dog
He was sniffing for the rabbit trace,
And now we were ready to give chase.
Swiftly would I run,
Along with my gun.
Myself and the Red Dog
He would not be lagging,
But have his tail wagging.
The thrill in his eyes of brown,
His paws going round and round,
tearing up the ground.
This was what we did.
Myself,
And
The Red Dog.
I love it, Mikki! Perfect
I love it, Mikki! Perfect rhythm and timing. :)
I don’t thrive off of chaos: chaos thrives off of me.
