Bloggity 2: The Balloon People

Most of the time, me and my brother (the Technological Geekster – he’s asked me to call him that on here) get along pretty well. We’re fairly close as far as siblings go. But sometimes, he drives me downright insane. And sometimes, even he will get in a random mood, and if I happen to be in a random mood at that point, interesting things happen. Today we were tossing a half-deflated Mylar balloon around my room and talking. I kicked the balloon, and he said, “Oh no! You just killed the balloon!”
“No I didn’t.” I said, because I wasn’t in a random mood yet, and to my unrandomified eyes, the balloon was still very much alive, although somewhat tired-looking.
“But you killed all the little water balloon people inside!” he cried.
“Oh, how sad.” I said, starting to get slightly random again, partially due to the effects of a recently emptied glass of caffeinated iced tea. “And they were the last of their race!” he said, starting to look very mournful. I started to look rather mournful too, and almost started crying at my own evilness, until I remembered that the balloon people weren’t real.
He left my room. When he came back about an hour later, he said that the last remaining member of the balloon race was hunting me down. “Tell him I’ll marry him, and we can have a bunch of little half-balloon kids.” I said. We briefly wondered whether it would be better to have the balloon half on the top or the bottom. See what weird places our minds go? Eventually, we decided that they would have to be balloon on top and human on the bottom. (Balloon faces are just so cute!) I decided that if they misbehaved that I would threaten to poke them with a needle. By this time TG and I were almost in tears because we were laughing so hard. But in the end, my half-balloon kids committed suicide by poking themselves with a pushpin because they were outcasts from society. My train of thought scares me.

13.  He's really cool; he's like some sort of genius or something.

I wish I was that close to one of my siblings. I mean I'm close to them but not in age or mental state. I f I was, this would be the type of thing we would do.

Yeah, we have a lot of fun.  Not to rub it in.  But if we're going to talk about mental state he's like 5 times smarter than I am, but he can't draw or write, so I'm ok with it. :-)
