Bridget sat in front of her computer, her mind racing with ideas that she couldn’t put into words. She couldn’t think of names for anyone. She was horrible at names.
Bridget was lying in her bed, crying. She was lonely, and heart felt weighed down as if there were a stone tied to it. She clutched the gold medal she had won in the last tournament and closed her eyes.
Bridget went through flying kicks and punches like they were part of her. Her breath came fast and hard, and her heart was pumping so hard she could hear it her ears. She had never been happier.
Bridget stood in shock. Kayla had just told her that Carson was cheating on her. How could he do this?
Bridget walked on the side of the road with her best friend Jordan. She threw back her head and laughed loudly at something she said. Were her cheeks turning red?
Bridget finished her sparring match. Her teacher stood behind her. “You did well today.” he said. She flushed with pride and dipped her head in acknowledgement.
Bridget flipped through her box of lists. Bridget liked lists. She had lists of everything, from her favorite colors, songs, and foods, to a list of boys she thought were cute, (this one was fairly long) to a list of books she was going to have in her private library when she grew up (this one was much longer). She looked at the list of boys, and wrote ‘Discontinued’ under it. Screw boys, anyway. She would never get married, never have a boyfriend; just travel the world by herself. It would be lonely, but that was nothing new. She could deal.
Bridget spun around in circles under the moon. No matter how upset she was, being outside at night helped.
Bridget held a plastic wing piece close to her face. Jeffrey had asked her to do detail painting on his model P-61, and she loved it. But it wasn’t easy.
Bridget stood under the showerhead, letting the water wash away the blood.
Bridget sat in her tree, letting the wind blow her hair over her face. She breathed in deeply.
Bridget sat in her tree, watching the sunset, and wondered why some things just couldn’t be remembered.
Bridget swung her arms back and forth, laughing, as she walked to Wal-Mart with Kevin and Matt. When they got there, they got a loaf of French bread and a container of chicken. They ate it on their way back to the church. The bread tasted like pretzels, she said, and Kevin laughed and messed up her hair.
Bridget looked out at the lightning with her eyes wide. She loved thunderstorms. She danced across the yard with glee.

Love this line

That's a cool sentence.

Some of this stuff is taken
Some of this stuff is taken out of my own experience. Most is just made up. The tree parts are all real, though. And I do like lists.

I really liked this, Bridget...the descriptions were lovely, and it's a very creative way to delve into a character. But...why is she bleeding? Pardon my curiosity...I daresay we're just supposed to imagine a reason, since you didn't include it...
I'm going to be doing
I'm going to be doing flashbacks every once in a while and each time you'll find out a little more. I'm glad you liked it!

Oh, ok. I'll just have to keep my speculations to myself, then!
Yes, I really liked it. It reminded me a little of a musical montage from a movie, but it was better, because one could see into the character.
Lol, coolness.
