Look to the west,
And hear my voice
Upon the crashing waves.
I promise you
I have found peace.
By your grace I have been saved.
Please understand
How hard it was
To leave you on the shore,
And for letting me
Set sail that day
I love you all the more.
No mortal fear
Can harm me here,
No darkness lives behind my eyes.
Free at last
From injury past,
Out of despair and doubt, I rise.
Look to the west,
And hear gull’s song
Lift above the tides of time.
Do not grieve
For the passing years
Of the world that once was mine.
A different story
Now unfolds
And though I must depart,
The tale we shared
Will still remain
A harbor in my heart.
Here I am whole,
Renewed in soul,
All my cares are washed away.
Do not regret,
I love you yet,
And will ‘til the end of days.
Look to the sea
And think of me
Believe that all I say is true.
When day is done,
Look into the sun
And know I still hear you.
incredible!
Well done! The Poem really captured the heart of Frodo.
