       The days pass by
Blending in a monotonous blur

The blaring sun sets
Only for the alabaster moon to replace it
Ends another day
Begins another night

Search out answers among the stars
Await a god that never came
Make a futile attempt to recite a prayer
Watch the clock rewind

Thorns covered in hemlock entice our touching
We always covet what we cannot have
Wanton desires lead to eternal damnation
Keep searching for your god that never came
Turn the hourglass
Buy more time

That was interesting, very somber. I liked it :)
