This Is Not An Essay

this is not an essay like i was supposed to write. because sometimes ideas caress your brain until you get them right. and even though i should right now be forcing bland facts out--well, i can't help but write something i actually care about.

one day i'll find an essay that i know i'll want to write. and many people will read it and they'll say how i am right. and even as i write this and it's slowly thinning out--at least i've written something that i actually care about.

this is not an essay and i hope that that's okay.
for now i'm keen to poetry, but i'm certain that one day
i'll find something that stirs something new inside my heart
this is not an essay, but the essay isn't far

Very strange, poem-like thing that I wrote. :P Of late, my poems haven't been very good. *sigh* I'm basically just writing whatever comes into my head. And before you ask, no, I wasn't supposed to write an essay! LOL! ;) I just wrote this for fun. Thoughts? Thanks. My stuff is filling up the homepage. I promise something worth reading very soon! This was good, I liked how it flowed.
I'm sure the uncapitalized 'I's were intention? LOL! It was just a little painful for me... I'm like seriously addicted with capitalization. Haha... I'm... like..."i" IT BURNS ME!!! LOL! Haha!
Other than struggling with the uncapitalized "I"s it was fantastic ;)

Erin--Oh, thank you! :) I really appreciate it. The same goes for you!

Kass--LOL! Yeah, intentional. I didn't have a sudden bout of capitalization-forgetfulness. ;D Sometimes I like to use the lower case 'i', as a kind of style. But if I ever start doing that in my regular writing, please, feel free to hit me upside the head! LOL!! Haha! Thanks.

Thank you both!

I love it! And I agree with Erin - it's really cute! I love the flow and the rhyming. Plus I really like your topic. Poetry is more fun than most essays anyways. :)
