Hope

Hope

Intertwined in your life
Beating every beat
Stepping every step
Moving with your feet

A greatly respected thing
Something inevitable
Never able to stop
Things can be regrettable

But this little bundle
This tiny little pack
So small yet big
Clinging to your back

Born in every baby
Crashed in every wave
Stretching across mountains
Light in every cave

It may be hard to hold
For our hands are very small
But our hearts are wide open
Never letting it fall

Then the sun shines
And the heart glows
Forgetting long
Forgotten woes

And that just proves
Many theories so
There is hope
There is something to know.

I loved this poem, particularly these stanzas:

Intertwined in your life
Beating every beat
Stepping every step
Moving with your feet

Born in every baby
Crashed in every wave
Stretching across mountains
Light in every cave

I don't know...it's just forty pages, you know? Maybe excerpts from it? That would be cool, though. Especially if we posted it scene by scene. I'll talk to you soon, Kassady! :))
