Forest

Stand tall forest Stand tall trees Hide me in your shadows Hold me in you peace Stretch out your branches Stretch out your leaves Unfold your springtime blooms Birds refuge in your rooms Let me touch your bark Listen to the singing lark Feel the wildfire dig in deep Hold on until the last flames sleep Finger the wind with your arms Produce good crop for poorer farms Hold a snowflake in winter cold Sleep unnoticed with young and old Wake again once spring returns All the forest, for summer, yearns As your leaves turn older brown And at last fall from your crown Then the fall steals away your green But inside runs, an emerald stream Life beats for ages in your heart Even when the old dies a new life will start Stand tall Stand long Stand erect Stand strong Stand tall forest Stand tall trees Hide me in our shadows Hold me in your peace

Lovely.  I love trees and the woods.

"Sleep unnoticed with young and old"... Lovely.  Just lovely.

Brother: Your character should drive a motorcycle.
Me: He can't. He's in the wilderness.
Brother: Then make it a four-wheel-drive motorcycle!
