**Hello there! I haven't been on here enough lately and I haven't posted anything in far too long, no thanks to school, writer's block and feeling just generally uninspired. But here for you to hopefully enjoy is a little something I wrote a month or two ago when given the topic "poke".

On another note, I just want to quickly say that I'm setting Annica Sees aside for a while and I'm going to start working on background info, character sketches, etc. for a story called Moonwatch. I wrote the first chapter a long time ago (it can be found here on AP) and moved on to other things, but I'm coming back to it now and I think you guys will like it. :)**

There once was a penguin named Poke,
A merry little bird he was he.
He loved to drink Diet Coke
But refused to share it, you see.

His friends were terribly thirsty: "Poke,
You really are being quite rude!" they said.
"Won't you let us drink some of your Coke?"
"Diet Coke!" said the penguin, incensed.

"If it's regular Coke you want,
Go ask the polar bears.
As for sharing, I shan't."
They realized that he didn't care.

So they went over the lake to the bears
And had all they wished of Coke.
They were even featured in a commercial there,
While all alone sat Poke.

This made him quite sad, you see
For Poke was a sociable bird.
"Come back over here!" cried he.
His lesson had been learned.

"I realize now that you were right
In what you all said about me.
When I have so much, it is very impolite
Not to share at least two or three!"

So his friends came back and rang his bell
And they all drank Diet Coke together.
My children, I hope you've listened well
And know it's important to share with each other.
