as i walk these streets
lights change.
keeping with the gamblers(of life and love).
wonderment fulfills the demands of
silence

it is now i realize
i love(d) you
but my letters(never really sent)go unheeded
i pass the post office

that resides between my present
thoughts and future actions.
the light on inside fuels my sudden impulse.
i rush through the entrance way, as if thinking
anymore may cause the electricity to fail.

before bad luck may rendezvous
with my fate, i find myself at the counter
a single stamp
i pay with a 10

as i lead my self(and soul)to the
awaiting mailbox, i revel in the sound of
change
i let go of my words and uncertainty

it is now you realize
i love(d) you
