I apologise for taking so long on this, but I've been busy.
I'd like to start out by saying that this does not treat Victoria very well. I'm not a big fan of her, and it shows. Also, Plato freaks me out, so I'm not very nice to him, either.
I did not make up the names, they are all elvish. I looked up my characters' names is Elvish, then preceded to mismatch them. In some cases, I give them something entirely different.
Alrighty, I think that's everything. On with the fan fiction!!!!

Chapter seven

My heart was pounding. I was so nervous, and I didn't know why.
I looked at Amber. She was holding her breath. For a minute, I thought that her face was turning red, but then I realized that her fur really is that color. I hadn't gotten a good look at her until now.
She had this black spot that covered her nose. Hers was a face that made you want to go, "Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!"
It was almost comical.

I was interrupted mid chuckle by Old Deuteronomy. (He had paused for dramatic effect.)
"To Amber, I give the name Riniel. To Alyssa, I give Meltoriel. Charity, you will be Sanya. And Stephanie, you shall be called Nessima." He stepped down off his tire and left the Junkyard.

I turned to Amber, now Riniel.
"Is that it?"
"That's it."
"But it was brief and to the point!"
"That's Old Deut, for ya!"
Charity, now Sanya, came over.
"I thought the same thing when he announced that Aly and I were here. 'We have two visitors in our midst. Welcome them.' He didn't even mention where we'd been for the last several weeks!"
I smiled.
"I bet that Aly was thrilled. You know how she loves a good introduction!"
Sanya laughed.
"Oh, she was thrilled beyond words!"
"Hey, shouldn't we start calling her 'Meltoriel,' " said Riniel. "That is her name, now."
"Let's call her Mel, it'll drive her crazy!"
As we all laughed, I couldn't help but feel that things were gonna get better.

I was right.
The next several months were bliss.

Riniel and Etcetera have become co-presidents of the Rum Tum Tugger Fan Club (RTTFC).
He now has TWO excitable kittens following him around all day. That is, unless Riniel spots Munkustrap. Man, that guy sure can run.
When she's not drooling at Tugger and Munku, she's playing with Pouncival and Tumblebrutus. They're all so hyperactive, I get tired just watching them.

Mel has been practically avoiding us. She spends alot of time off with Victoria and Plato.

San and I have been much more productive with our time. Sort of.

San has been spending alot of time with Electra.
Common misconception: Elli was born without a personality. Well, you're half right.
She didn't have much character until she started hanging with San. As it turns out, she's incredibly smart.
I know what you're thinking: How can she be smart if she's the member of the RTTFC? As a matter of fact, she only fawns over him because she wanted to fit in. Scratch that, fawned.
San has also been hanging around with Mungojerrie. Rumpleteaser and I have been comparing notes, trying to figure out what's going on. ;)

Me, I've been hanging around with Jemima, mostly.
Things that you probably didn't know about Jem:
She's innocent, not naive.
She's telepathic.
She has healing abilities.
She is Demeter's daughter. Father, Macavity.
She is an only child, well, kitten. Very unusual in cats.
She has a "thing" for Tumble.
In short, Jem fascinates me.
Her only major flaw, she's in the RTTFC. (shudder)

I've also been spending time with Mistoffelees.
Wow.
Need I say more?

San and I have formed a sort of Anti-Tugger group that consists of us, Misto, Mungo, Teaser, Elli, and various other Jellicles whose names I can't recall.
One day, early on, Tugger tried flirting with me. I bit him on the nose, and it swelled. We called him Rudolph for weeks!
When he tried flirting with San, she kicked him in the.....................well, she kicked him.
He's avoided us ever since.

I have never had an accidental wish go this well.
I feel great and nobody, not even Big Mac, can do anything to bring me down.
