    Dominica Lamar is a normal kid in a normal town....until her family is kidnapped. Devastated, she runs for help, but she herself is kidnapped. After discovering some startling secrets, she sets off to find her family, with nothing to help her except her friends...and something unknown to her until she is near the end.

     Something, or someone, is trying to prevent them from their quest, but they cannot and will not give up until they have accomplished what they set out to do. When extreme measures are taken,  they are captured and sentenced to die, and all that Dominica has come for comes crashing to the ground. When she finds out something that she had never suspected, she is crushed.

     How will she take her stand?  How will she survive?

     Will she give in to the vices of the enemy?

    Or will she die?
