This is so SO good. These two lines especially reverberated with me:
The fear, the night, the secrets I
Have kept since my dark youth.
Well done! And thank you for sharing.

I don’t thrive off of chaos: chaos thrives off of me.

Does it make you wonder...I mean, just to know that both of us write a poem on tears at the same time???
I just wanted to tell you that this is indeed gorgeous! I get the feeling and the way you wrote it was perfect. I loved this stanza:

These are the walls that hold my tears.
These are the walls that keep my soul
From washing in a flood of light,
And sea, and hope, and grief.

Lovely job, Heather <3<3

because there are no words to describe how I feel right now but I absolutely ADORE this and all of your poetry. You write in a way that is both sophisticated and relatable, if that makes sense? Right now I just don't feel I can comment my feelings justice but, in short, I loved it so much.

Wow, what a powerful way to end a poem! You have such wonderful visuals that stimulate these deep emotions one rarely uses to describe something like, say, tears! 'Aching for the wetness' struck another chord with me....just wow!

When I worship, I would rather my heart be without words than my words be without heart.

My word, I’m so sorry for how late this comment is x’D But thank you so much!! That means a lot <3 I’m so glad you liked it!
