You made the Heavens and the Earth;
At the beginning of what we know Time to be.

Ere morning comes, You are. Within the fading moon and stars;

Ere flower blooms, You are.
Designing a most glorious garb;
and drawing out, from the depths, a new miracle.

Ere life is gone, You'll be.
Deep down inside you'll call softly;
If only then we're not gone too far to hear You.

Ere judgement comes, You'll be.
For all judgement is for Thee;
Mercy flows strong and sure, holding Love, great and pure.

Ere Time begun, You were.
Ere This day come, You are,

O, Dear God, who made all time and space, You surpasseth all that You have made.
