Tossed by             hands                   of ocean’s depths   Prow of royal crown, wheel of carpenter’s son   Flung by            the sky’s tread                              below   Finesse of sea and harbour, pride of humble hands   Rolling movements                   soft rocking                                 swaying                                           it dances   Sails of merchant’s price, by rough hands sewn   Commander’s voice                           loud                               it thunders                                            it echoes   Guided by captain, laboured by navy’s men   Shaken by         gunpowder blast                            it trembles
