Tribute to Candy Corn

A tribute to you, oh candy corn.
You assail my nostrils as the bag is torn.
You yellow my teeth, you fatten my waist.
Yet I live with it all for your wonderful taste.
From tip to your top, you are a beautiful thing.
You make my heart race, you make my mouth sing.
Before you, I cried, but I no longer mourn,
With you by my side, my sweet candy corn.

This is the weirdest, insanest, most demented poem I have ever written. I don't know what possessed me to post it. I only hope the judge will let me plead insanity for this.

Hmmm...this is demented! But in a good way, not a bad way.

I also love candy corn. Have you ever noticed that the white tips taste the best? I like to break them into the separate colors and eat them separately...it's more fun that way.

i like to hold three or four pieces in my fingers and bunch them up like a real ear of corn and then eat them from the top down.  It's very messy.  I also like the yellow parts best... mmm.

Annabel: I actually take a few pieces and bunch them up in my fingers like a real cob of corn, and then eat them all at once starting with the yellow.  Yellow tastes best in my opinion.  I'm a very messy eater!

Keri T.: You mean you love it because it's demented, right? ;-)
