You may not know that the word “because” can tell us something about our world. However, it does bring up one important issue. When it comes to the evolution VS. creation debate, Because is one little word that can upset one of the two. Why? It’s actually quite simple.

A RANDOM THOUGHT CAN BE A POWERFUL THOUGHT.

It’s true. This all came to me while day-dreaming, uh, excuse me…I meant to say doing math. It hit me like a… well like something. I was thinking about a Jeff Carwin show we had watched. He was talking about these monkeys, who didn’t have thumbs “Because it would get in the way when they swung from tree to tree.” Now at first that sounds just interesting. That’s all. But “because” is a very powerful word! It may seem normal but think about it. In a argument an evolutionist explaining something about why his theory works will say “And this makes sense BECAUSE…” And in the same way a creationist will discard evidence saying, "but that wouldn't work BECAUSE..." and vice-versa. Now you say to me, (or the computer, but you mean to be talking to me,) "Duh, we couldn't communicate very well if we use the word because." But that’s not the point I'm trying to make. ( I just wrote that to make the essay longer. sorry.)

That's like the word "because". When Jeff said “Because it would get in the way when they swung from tree to tree.” I don't think he was using the force. (No, I'm just kidding.) This is what I want to know...no wait... this is what I do know: Jeff is an evolutionist. Now, here's what I what to know: How does evolution know that the monkey needs to not have any thumbs. does the monkey stair at its thumbs and meditate: "Oh great Natural Selection and mighty Mutations, please make my thumb go away so I can swing in the trees." (or maybe the monkey didn't have thumbs yet and would ask that they didn't grow.) Now if you believe in God that's no problem because it would only make sense that he would know how to make the monkey. Same with any thing else. Like: " Dogs see in black and white because they need to see in the dark." An Evolutionist can't seriously say that. Thing just don't evolve like that. But they are created in that way.

SO WHAT?

We all say stuff like: "These monkeys don't have thumbs Because it would get in the way when they swung from tree to tree.” So why is that all important? Well it tells us that from the dawn of time people have been saying that. Only they used to mean "God Made the monkey with no thumbs Because it would get in the way when they swung from tree to tree." Now that's not what we mean today. But if the belief in Intelligent Design has been around form the beginning, then what makes us so sure that Evolution is the one true religion? (Yup, is a religion. Actually Christianity not really a religion. A religion is defined as "a way to get to god." Christians believe you can't get to God. God comes to you. then only with him can you be free.)
