They ran at a back braking pace. "Keanoko is to fast for me to catch up with. Oh well." Kryztan noticed. " It was a good life, working our masks off, worrying if Gorast would come and kill us, or not." Kryztan tripped on a stick a went sprawling. He looked back. He saw their attackers hurrying though the trees. They were two big, horrifying...matoran. "Keanoko!!!" He called. No answer. He ran after him. Keanoko was standing on the edge of a 35 foot water fall. "Oh, I ever-hate water." He lamented. (A common trait between Le-things.) "But, no choice." He Jumped. "KEANOKO!!" Kryztan Yelled. He then turned around to see that the two Matoran had caught up to them. One was a Ga-Matoran, the other a Po-Matoran. "Hi I'm Tellix." Said the Ga-matoran. "And I'm Ponick." said the other. Kryztan said nothing. Tellix spoke. "We're not going to harm you. Our village was attacked by a shadow matoran, named Vultraz." "Don't speak of Vultraz to me!" Kryztan growled. " He was once my best friend's friend. He ruined my life!!! A stupid traitor! A waste of Protodermis!" Now it was Ponick's turn. "How should we have known?" "Do you have anything better to do then scare other matoran?" Was the reply.
"Do you have anything better to do then fling angry words around?" Silence. Kryztan turned toward the cliff. Keanoko climbed ashore, down below. Kryztan waved for him to come back up. Then Tellix broke the silence. "We have been trying track you down. We noticed that a rahi didn't kill that hound a few miles back. Is this yours?" She tossed a dagger at Kryztan. He nodded. "Is that the only reason you followed us?" "No" Ponick said. "We see that in order to kill an energy hound one must be very skilled."
"I'm not all that skilled."
"How long did you last before your friend shot it?"
"About ten minuets."
"That sounds like an amazing feat to me."
"Maybe."
"We Must take you to our grope." Said Tellix. "Grope?" Kryztan asked. "All will be explained." Answered Ponick.
"Very well."
Later...
"I would not-never think that you could lead us in to this." Keanoko whispered. Kryztan shrugged. They were in a clearing with a fire burning low, as not to attract any rahi Tellix and Ponick had lead them to two other matoran. An Onu-matoran and a Ta-matoran. (onu means earth.) The Onu-matoran was introduced as Napa. The Ta-matoran's name was Laker. Napa stood and spoke: "Welcome, you have all joined me to help in a mission of grave importance." Keanoko interrupted. "What makes you think that we will go along with this?"
"You must. For the sake of the universe."
"But why-ever us?"
"You all have exceptionable skills." Kryztan stood. "By what authority can you this?!" Tellix answered. "He comes from an organization called 'The Order of Mata Nui'. "What's that?" asked Keanoko. "He won't tell us." Said Laker. "He just says it's the opposite of the Brotherhood of Makuta."
"That's right." Said Napa. "And it's a secret organization, so if you tattle about it to anyone, I'll have to kill both involved."
"Oh, is that ever-happy news. Keanoko snapped. "What 'skills' do I have that you would want anyway." Napa smiled. "Tellix and Ponick tell me you’re a very brave cliff jumper and ,for a Le-matoran, an exceptionable swimmer." Everyone laughed, except Keanoko. He growled. "On a more serious note," Napa continued, "From that dog we found back there, it looks like you’re a pretty good shot."
"That was nothing."
"Which makes it even better."
Kryztan (who was still standing) gave in. "All right, we'll help you." Keanoko jumped up. "We will?!" "yes Keanoko, we will. But by our free will, not yours Napa!" Napa beamed, "Good, good." Keanoko sighed. "All right. What is our mission?"
"I'll tell you, but first we'll have to fix you mask, Kryz---" Kryztan had blacked out. "Let him stay shut-eye." Said Keanoko. "Yes." Napa agreed. "He'll need his rest, for tomorrow. You all will."

Hey Nate, 1 little request. Could we have a dictionary of names and places to reference back to when we read this? I'm getting partially confused. My little brother did Legos and Bionicle for a while but we didn't care for the whole "power" thingy in Bionicle, so we quit. Which is why I appreciate your version, you're downplaying the power thing. LOL. Maybe I'm just extra dense. Sorry. ;0)

And sorry I haven't kept up with this story--I did read the first couple of parts but managed to miss all the others somehow, until I noticed something else you did and thought, "oops I completely forgot about his stuff!"

BTW, I like the way Keanoko talks!

Cool, thanks Heather! As for a dictionary, I'm working on one as we speak! It's a little hard to make though because of the fact that I'm down playing the power thing, which really drives the story. It sounds really jumpy and bumpy. I love the way Keanoko talks too. I love Le-matoran. At first Keanoko was only going to be in the first and second chapters but I'm glad that changed.

Very good! I read this a long time ago and just forgot to comment. One question though, why did Krystan black out?
