I am master of myself of my actions, my feelings, and most
important my dreams
My dreams teach me
My dreams play
My dreams take me places
I have solved puzzles of my comprehension,
I have found who are my true friends,
I have learned ways of people
I have been the secret love,
I have been queen,
the helping hand,
the rescuer
I have gone to bazaar alleys and eccentric fortresses
I have been to everyday cities and forests

And I have been to magic places. Places with the forgotten beasts of
jewels cast off from a society that lives only for today, and never for the
hope of tomorrow or the dreams of yesterday

I am young
I am old
I am brave
I am selfish

I am an empty vase to be filled with the abstract thoughts of my mind
mingled with actual events and people. Yet I am awake I remember them; I
walk among my dreams and know they are only an echo. I can turn them off at
will but I choose not because what happens in my mind cannot happen outside
it - magic things only exist in the imaginations of the creative.
But I would choose the real world if I had a choice. Dreams are very
pretty but only pictures, only reflections of the solidness. They are the wisps of life swirled together to create something new.
I am the master
I am the dream
I am.
