Friends, ApricotPie-ers, Countrymen! Lend me your ears.
I beg of ye to forgive me for my grave lack of providing amusing stories over the past several months. Needless to say, I have with me an excellent excuse.
It appears that I have been selected for a grave and serious quest.... a quest that has no apparent end, and that steals up to 50 hours of my time each and every week. Common people call it a "Job".. but 'tis so much more than that, my friends... 'tis a livelihood.. a quest... a great adventure...
I wrote my sign upon a figment of a scroll, affixing and swearing that I will faithfully work for my liegelord for as long as we both shall desire. And now, for five days a week, I mount upon my trusty steed in the wee hours of the morning, and ride to the castle, where labor commences.
All this I must needs explain, so that ye may understand my severe lack of attendance in this fair and friendly tavern.
'Til later, adieu and Godspeed.
~G-Mac

Yes, that might explain it! I love that word "aboot" and when I hear people saying it, I want to laugh out loud out them (!!!). I have a friend who's (white) south African, and she says 'book' like 'boo-ck', if that makes any sense. :D
