Give Love a Chance

Where there is hatred, let me sow love – St. Francis of Assisi.

Perfect love casteth out fear – St. Paul.

Fear and hate rule the world today. The evidence us everywhere: mistrust, violence, bloodshed and murder.

I have come so that you can have life, and have it more abundantly – Jesus

For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten son – John

God’s intention was that we would listen to His son and what He had to tell us.

Above all, love one another, even as I have loved you – Jesus.

There is no greater love than this, that a man lay down his life for his friend. – Jesus.

We should above all else, love one another. If it means sacrificing our lives to do this, we should not stop loving one another. The only way to stop the fear and hatred in the world is to love.

The world depends on love to operate properly. The world would be a perpetual war zone without love, The world IS becoming a war zone because people have stopped loving, or never learned how to love, or do not know how to come from a place of love when they communicate with others.

They shall know you are my disciples if you love one another, He told them.

Love is the answer to all the world’s problems. Love cannot be legislated by government decree. Love must come from within, from the place we came from.

Perfect love comes from God. As God’s son, Jesus told us to love one another.

If anyone has resentment against their neighbor, he should approach the neighbor with love, and explain what they did or said that hurt them. The neighbor should then receive the offended one in love and apologize for offending them.

The desire to live in love and peace must be mutual, and heartfelt. We must love one another. That is the only way to overcome mistrust, fear, malice and hatred.

To love is to forgive.

Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors – The Lord’s Prayer.

How can we expect our Father in Heaven to forgive us if we do not forgive our neighbor? When we forgive our neighbor our own sins are forgiven.

Forgive and you will live. Harbor resentment, and it will poison your life.
