i. The Art Museum
I walk through paintings
Hundreds of years old
And something about the colors
Of a world long ago
Makes me think of you
And as I read their poetic symmetry
I can't help but wonder what you'd say
As you'd hold my hand and look at them

ii. Two - Thirteen
The fear as Blue Velvet
Suddenly stuck in my head
Flits through my brain
And I want to run outside, call you back
Though you swore you'd be safe
I collapse to the ground
Heaving sobs wreak my exhausted frame
"And I still can see blue velvet through my tears"

iii. Sunset
We have a funny sort of mutual survival
We rely on each other
Symbiotically
We dance on
And the orange hues
Don't look as threatening
In the sunset

iv. Love
We fall
Holding hands
Deeper in love
Your eyes
Shine brightest
When you smile
