Real

i. Crazy
You said to me, not long ago, that we could run away
And I thought that, if you don't mind, we could do that today
Because I'm going crazy staring at the same four walls
And if I stay here longer, I won't get out at all

Would you call me crazy if I asked to take your hand?
Would you laugh and shake your head, or would you understand?
I know that there's not much to do, but maybe if we tried
We could escape together, and we could make it out alive

Maybe, I truly think, maybe I'm going crazy
For my head aches, my vision's blurred, and my judgment's going hazy
I just want to leave the dark behind and see a better place
And maybe if we walk together, we can find better days.

ii. Rebels
My breath catches, for a second
Choking fast on bitter words
Then your nose wrinkles, angrily
We know what they deserve

Frozen air in frozen lungs
We shiver from the cold
But our voices rise in mutiny
As we push away the old

iii. Real
Though you said your voice was shot
It was better you sang then had you not
Hearing you reminded me
That this was real

And we moved, slow, but close
The song played on, note by note
The familiar sound of our favorite band
This was real

I rested my head on your shoulder
Praying this moment would never be over
Feeling your arms around my back
I knew that this was real

This was real

I loved Crazy! The rhythm fizzled out a bit in the end, but I really enjoyed the rhyming and word choice. The last line of Rebels I liked. And This Is Real I enjoyed too :) Nice job on these!
