Radio Waves

We're fast and free and rebels at heart
We'll never grow old and never grow apart
We're radio waves and static interference
We're just a few more teenage delinquents

We pretend we're immortal and say we'll never die
We don't answer questions concerning 'why'
We're nothing but energy and everything but them
We sing and we dance and say work is a sin

We stay in the garage and stay in the shade
We sharpen our knives and toss our grenades
We confuse and we lose and we break promises
We count up our wins and ignore all our losses

We're summer and sand and the wind in our hair
We're halfway gone and almost there
We've got gunpowder blood and dynamite veins
We still play with fire and we never explain

We're constantly messes and never look our best
We do about half and improvise the rest
We're rage and we're blood and we'll never stop running
We're just what you need and don't try to be funny

We're constantly here though one day we'll die
Though we pretend we're okay we know we can't try
But we'll live on in the memories of men and the world
And though our bodies decay our souls stay gold

This held me captive to the end! Very well done!

Goodbye? Oh no, please. Can’t we just go back to page one and start all over again?” – Winnie The Pooh

This reminded me of teenage rebellion. Don't know if that was the intent, but I love it. I love the I-Don't-Care-About-Anything attitude about this. It even had me riled up a bit! LOL! It's really, really great. Really, I can't say enough about it. I just love it!

Ditto to Homey! This was REALLY good all the way through! But the first verse was my favorite!

THIS IS SO GOOD. Lol, it reminds me of every Lana Del Rey song ever (which is a compliment coming from me!)
