A Late Night Pixelated Love Story

Switching pages between stanzas
Enjoying all of your funny quips and phrases
Half-hearted list that means the world to me
We're just two kids having fun

I spy a tree just on the other hill
Paper hats and metaphorical automobiles
My heart skips every time there is a pause
Maybe you'll take the time to speak

Clock ticking, another music note drones by
Secretly I think I love you
But I'm fine with staying friends
I cross my fingers, pray you'll stick around

A daily thought of you is passing through
A bag, a box, I've made dinner for two
We can share our inside jokes
I'm not being obnoxious, I hope

"a bag, a box, I've made dinner for two" especially loved that line. This is too cute :)
