Everything's Fine

As the rose colored glasses come off
I realize that perhaps things aren't as comfy-cozy as they could be
I'm trying, perhaps too hard,
And though we both act as if everything's fine
I'm slowly dying

As the rose colored glasses come off
Would your eyes widen in realization, a sudden flood of emotion rushing
Or would you shout, calling me selfish?
And though we both act as if everything's fine
I'm silently crying

And I can't help but to think your words are all lies
That you're just making excuses and making me cry
And I can't help but wonder when this will end
And if it was worth all the time that I've spent

As the rose colored glasses come off
I bitterly ask you to kindly remove the mask of faux concern
Then drown myself in disenchanted slumber
And though we both act as if everything's fine
I'm mournfully sighing

The repetition was good, not too much of it. Really good job :)
