Coffee and Moonlight

Submitted by Flying Past Clouds on Thu, 04/24/2014 - 01:01

The smell of coffee
And the feeling of cold air
Mixing with the rosy buzz
Not induced by caffeine

I'm thinking of home
One I've just begun to know
Not contained in a building
But someplace more free

The past few nights
I've been dreaming of laughter
Of the heavenly world
I have yet to return

And yet deep in my corner
Of coffee and moonlight
I feel warm and safe
And I'm no longer alone
