I’m jumping from the clouds
Escaping everything I know
I’m leaving the vexing crowd

Spreading out my sticky wings
Seeing if I know how to soar
Or maybe I will learn these things

Alone I’ll see the everlasting sky
Maybe I will find home
I will finally know if I can fly

The noises of traffic and speech
Will not reach my ears
I will finally escape their reach

Watch me as I walk away
From all I’ve known
I’m finding a dragon to slay

I’m going to prove what I can
I’m done crawling
I’m growing up, It’s time I ran.
