Hiding

I normally wouldn't post any fan fiction, simply because mine is all very cheese ball(My one about Finnick and Annie would horrify you), but I sort of like this one. Probably just because it's very short and simple and I normally tend to drone on and on in my poetry. I would really appreciate comments! Advice is very welcome!

Hiding
A Pride and Prejudice fan fiction
Your eyes look at me, un-moving
Your words are cold, uncaring
Your glances are harsh, judging

My thoughts are stern, detesting
My tone is jovial, probing
My attitude is careless, faking

You say you care, disgusting
You say you worry, insulting
Your anger shows, proving

My thoughts are jumbled, confusing
My heart won't believe, hiding
My hands are tied, bewildering

You prove your words, enchanting
Your gaze still lingers, exciting Y
our voice lays silent, devastating

I try to move on, faking
I try not to see you, failing
I don't let emotions show, hiding

You say you still love, brightening
You say I've bewitched, blinding
Your hands are cold, loving

Ooh...this was very, very, very good. Amazingly good. I loved it.

I've never read the book (!) but I've seen the movie (the most recent one, I think), and if it's anything close to the book, your poem seemed to describe it perfectly.

Ah, I'm a Fan fiction person, too! Do you have an account on Fanfiction (dot) net? You might want to check it out. Some APers do.

Haha...I'd actually probably LOVE to read the Finnick and Annie one. LOL!

Thanks guys!!! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I actually do have an account on fanfiction, I have posted 2 poems on there. It really helped with the "hunger games hangover" to have all the other stories! I can post my Finnick and Annie poem if you want me to, my friends who like THG, love it. But I think it's cheesy...so you probably have to love Finnick to like it!

Do you have a Narnia poem? ;)

EDIT: I can't really say much for this poem yet because I didn't read P&P just yet. But it's on my top list too and I have the book at home right now. :)

No, not any Narnia stuff! I read the Magicians Nephew(that is what it's called right?) and The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, but I couldn't get into the others! Pride and Prejudice is amazing! One of the only books I've read more than once, and I think I have read it 4 times! So much better than the movies, it has some of Mr. Darcy's POV which is just amazing :)!
