Unashamed

They laugh,
And taunt,
And mock.
Yet still we do not talk,
And simply sit in shame
As if we’re the ones in pain.

What we don’t understand
Is that we are a part of His plan
To retaliate with love,
Unashamed.

I'm glad you liked the rhyming, because I wasn't sure it worked. Thanks!

See him with his books:
Tree beside the brooks,
Drinking at the root
Till the branch bear fruit.
See him with his pen:
Written line, and then,
Better thought preferred,
Deep from in the Word.
