Broken

Okay, so I know that I promised stories, and I do have some to post, but I also wrote some poetry while I was gone and I really wanted to share it with you all and get your opinions before I forgot about them. So, next week there will be stories, I promise... and I mean it... :)

BROKEN

The wind sweeps back and forth
Bending the trees with its force
Sending the branches
On its planned course
Breaking them as it move
Yet still it proves
To be beautiful

His love to the world goes forth
Bending our lives with its force
Sending our plans on a news course
Breaking us as it moves
Yet still it proves
To be beautiful
When we are
Broken.

Yes, his love still proves to be beautiful, and even more beautiful when we are broken. Beautiful poem!

Goodbye? Oh no, please. Can’t we just go back to page one and start all over again?” – Winnie The Pooh

Thank you!

See him with his books:
Tree beside the brooks,
Drinking at the root
Till the branch bear fruit.
See him with his pen:
Written line, and then,
Better thought preferred,
Deep from in the Word.
~John Piper

"Sending our plans on a new course..." And even that can be beautiful.
