Hey, hey, hey, Jack Frost! I see ye comin’ round the bend
With your sleigh of ice and white powder to send
With a bite of the wind and a kiss of the breeze
Hey, here comes Jack Frost! Can you not see?
He’s the one who comes each year, his eyes of creamy blue
His clothing is that of traveling frost, with white crystal shoes.

Hey, hey, hey, Mr. Fridgid! I see ye comin’ round the turn
With your wand-like icicle and hat of snow and fern.
You sting the air and touch the earth when you shout
Making little children laugh and play and jump about
You’re the one I see each year, with your sleigh of ice
You are full of wonders and change, beauty and entice.

Hey, hey, hey, Jack Frost! I see ye comin’ round the bow
Them snow dogs sure are pulling you fast as the wind blows
Your head held up high and your smile spreading brightly
Stepping down from your sleigh and patting the wind lightly
I know you’re a busy frost this year; there is much to be done
But may I tag along this time? I’ll help you carry tools; just one?

Hey, hey, hey, Mr. Frigid! I see ye comin’ round the curvature
Is it hard being Jack Frost? Tell me, Mr. Brrrrrrrr….
What is it like to handle snow and air of such cold?
The sting of the wind as little children huddle by the fire –
– Listening to stories being told?
A lot of the times I hear you whistle at night
Like a gentle tap against my window, giving me a fright.

Hey, hey, hey, Jack Frost! I see ye comin’ round the bend
With your sleigh of ice and the white powder you sent
With a hug of the wind and a kiss of the breeze
Hey, Jack Frost is leavin’ now! Can ye not see?
He is the one who comes each year with his eyes of creamy blue
Now Jacks leavin’ on his sled, leaving the frost be hind with you.
