Paper faces on the water
Barely leave us room to breathe.
Empty eyeholes staring out,
Floating, lonely, on the sea.
Crashing up against the shoreline
Rising, falling, till they break.
Rising up until we sink.
Falling down until we're free.

This is perhaps the most interesting short poem I've ever read (bear in mind I haven't read very many) =]

Oh wow, I love this.  It's really good, and I almost think I know what it means, but not quite, and it's sad too, and I love it.
